Change Your Story March 9

The Change Your Story workshop is an opportunity to dive deeper into our personal stories. Each of us has so much to unpack and examine in our lives, yet we so rarely dignify our lives with the honor of having our story written and heard. The act of sharing our stories and our pain being witnessed by others is healing and unburdening. Many of us have unpacked a part of our life's history, but likely there is more that still needs to be heard. We will learn how to unpack and how to process, grieve, and find some new meaning from the paths we have walked. Come and walk with others through this sacred ground of the stories of our lives. We will have an introduction lecture first, then we will write a 600-900 word story from our lives that needs to be told. After reading and processing the stories in small groups, we will end with dinner at a local restaurant (optional). We hope you can join us for this life-changing day. 

Workshop is open to anyone ages 15 and above and is a great way to get a taste of the 10 day Grace Encounter Workshop.

Cost

$20. Dinner is your own cost.

8:30  Welcome and coffee

9:00-10:30  Introduction teaching to story healing

10:30-12:00  Personal story writing 

12:00-1:00  Lunch with small group

1:00-5:00  An hour each for reading and processing stories with brief breaks

5:00-5:30  Feedback, summary, and prayer
